These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of remote CCTV monitoring services provided by Aegis Vision Monitoring.
Services
Aegis Vision Monitoring provides remote, observational CCTV monitoring services only.
We do not provide physical security, law enforcement, or on-site response.
Client Authorization
By using our services, the client confirms that:
They own or are authorized to monitor the cameras
All surveillance is compliant with applicable laws
Required notices or consents have been obtained
Monitoring Limitations
Monitoring is based on visual observation only.
We do not guarantee prevention of theft, loss, or damage.
System failures, internet issues, or camera malfunctions may affect service availability.
Incident Reporting
When suspicious activity is observed:
The incident is logged and reported per the agreed response plan
Emergency services are contacted only if authorized by the client
Aegis Vision Monitoring is not responsible for response delays outside its control.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must:
Maintain functional camera systems and internet connectivity
Provide accurate contact and escalation details
Update instructions as needed
Confidentiality
All client data and monitoring activities are treated as confidential in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Aegis Vision Monitoring shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the monitoring service during the applicable period
Termination
Either party may terminate services according to the service agreement.
Upon termination, monitoring access will be discontinued.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, United States.
Acceptance
By using our services, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
